Integrated Lifters (IL) was established in 1984, as a provisioning & service company for Forklift operations at Cochin Port cargo sheds. After a year, IL diversified its thriving forklift operations service so that it could also cater to the burgeoning demand of the local shipping industry for repair and maintenance of their container fleet. IL garnered a sizeable market share in two years as the value proposition from their dedicated team that provided quality, timely and economical services was recognised by the mail-line operators and NVOCCs serving the Cochin port.

IL continued its diversification plans and branched into manufacturing & fabrication. One of the main areas was sheet metal fabrication. IL quickly earned a very good repute in the field of fabrication of insulated and containerised office/living spaces, tool rooms, ablution and sanitary facility etc.

Along its growth curve, IL set apart a service department which was capable of providing more specialised services for DRDO’s (under Ministry of Defence) laboratories for their various projects. This was the first step in client-specific service provisioning with a view to being more responsive to the client’s needs, consultative, participatory and involved services and at the same time maintaining competitiveness in all activities.

We have exclusive arrangements with Precision Machine Shop, which houses manual and CNC lathes, powerful mills with large rotary tables, CNC mills, horizontal borer, slotter, radial drills and a large range of cutting machines. This facility is capable of catering to any structural repairs that may be needed for the crane and also can ‘true’ its alignment. This workshop supplies virtually all the turned parts that we need for the rectification works of the trolley and associated systems and the OE suppliers’ manufactures.

We have the ability to provide on-site fitting. We have a responsive site repair team that carry out emergency structural repairs and mechanical/electrical and hydraulic breakdowns. We have arrangements with the testing houses to have the load testing with full certification.
